Advocating for property owners in Texas

I have been involved with government affairs and policy advocacy for many years:  I chaired policy teams working on Water Issues, Land Use, and Property Rights, chaired the Legislative Management Team at the Austin Board of REALTORS® in 2015 and 2019, spoke many times at City Council meetings and separately with council members and the mayor, and was part of presentations to legislators at the state and federal levels.   During the 2021 Texas legislative session, I was especially proud to support Texas REALTORS® efforts and to champion several successful bills that benefit property owners in Texas tremendously.  Here’s a summary of the big ones:
