A new, exciting role — C2EX Ambassador!

I have been working to improve professionalism in the real estate industry for many years, and I am proud to have taken another step. I have been chosen to join the first cadre of ambassadors for the National Association of REALTORS® Commitment to Excellence program.

C2EX is a personalized, self-paced educational process that begins with individual assessments of knowledge and skills in 11 disciplines that are all important in achieving comprehensive professionalism. The system then tailors specific lessons and task assignments in each area. Completing 10 competencies (all 11 for brokers) is the requirement to reach C2EX Endorsement. That can take several weeks or several months, depending on how much time a practioner can invest. I was an early adopter and completed the program almost two years ago. I learned recently that less than 30,000 of NAR’s 1.4 million members have reached that milestone:

An now, in an effort to get more of our colleagues to join us, a few dozen have been chosen to serve as C2EX Ambassadors through outreach and communication to REALTOR® groups around the country over the coming year.

I am excited to embark on this effort and I am confident that, like all of my volunteer work for our associations, this will make me more valuable to my clients while also improving the performance and esteem of our entire profession!
