Capitol Water Forum — comments from H2O4Texas

The H2O4Texas Coalition, the Texas Association of REALTORS®, and the Austin Board of REALTORS® partnered to create and host a well-attended forum on Wednesday at the Texas Capitol.  An overflow crowd in the Capitol Auditorium heard Senator Troy Fraser and Representative Allan Ritter discuss the urgent need to fund the Texas Water Plan and their proposals to do so.  Lewis McMahan, from the Texas Water Development Board, then talked in more detail about the Water Plan and its importance.  The discussion was moderated by Professor Charles Porter, an Austin-based water expert who writes and speaks and teaches about water issues throughout the state.

Video will be available soon.  For now, here’s a good summary from our friends at H2O4Texas:
