Austin positioned for success

On my business website (CentralTexasHomeSearch.com) I just posted this:

Austin and Tech Job Growth

In the chart below you’ll see that the Austin metropolitan area, among the top 10 growth metros in this arena, ranked 5th in percentage growth of CEM jobs from 2010 through 2023, but notice also that Austin ranked 1st in total job growth over those years.  More importantly, the Austin metro had the largest share of CEM jobs in 2023, and the highest average wages for CEM jobs and for all jobs.

Austin remains well-positioned for continued growth and prosperity in the coming years.  As I have written many times, a key challenge is the availability and affordability of adequate housing stock to support that growth.  All of the largest 50 metros face those challenges now.  We’re not alone in this, but we must continue pursuing solutions.
